Passed away on Wednesday, January 11, 2012 at Pioneers Lodge in Moose Jaw. Anne, at the age of 96 was predeceased by her beloved husband Joseph (1999). Anne was born to John and Elizabeth Gross on April 3, 1915. She grew up on the family farm near Bayard, SK., and was married to Joe in 1939. Anne and Joe resided in Moose Jaw most of their married life together except for a few years living in Tuxford, SK. They enjoyed many years of traveling together, attending the symphony and spending time enjoying nature. Anne enjoyed playing the piano. She loved gardening and painting and loved classical music. She was a very devoted and loving wife. She will be missed by her sisters Elsie of Regina, SK, and Victoria of Prince George, BC, sister in-law Hedy Gross, and by several nieces, nephews and by her good friends Lyle and Marilyn Hansen. She is predeceased by her brothers Rudolf, Edward, Adolf, and by her sisters Eva and Matilda. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, January 28th, 2012, at St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, 1064-3rd Ave. NW, Moose Jaw, at 11:00 a.m. with interment to follow at Sunset Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society of Saskatchewan, 301-2550-12th Ave, Regina, SK, S4P 3X1, would be appreciated.
