LOKEN, Irene Frances of Assiniboia SK, passed away peacefully on January 19, 2012 at the age of 89. Predeceased by her parents Peter and Bertha Kabrud, husband Bernt (1999), grandson Matthew Kimball (2005) and great-grandson Deshien Seip (2011), five brothers and four sisters, Irene is survived by her loving children: Kaye (Kevin) Engel, Karen (Denis) Baker, Doreen (Dave) Jerred, Lynda (Rod) Anderson, Sandra (Kim) Kimball, and Dallas Loken; grandchildren: Shelda Engel (Steve Lobb) and son Jayden; Darren Engel; Shawn (Melanie) Baker and daughters Brieanne, Mia, Halle and Emma; Stacy Baker; Brett Jerred; Krista (Mike) Seip and daughter Rayne; Mike (Heather) Anderson; Kyle (Dani) Anderson; Joel Kimball; and Jesse (Phil) Nkwama and sons Luke and Nate; her sister Myrtle Beler, as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, January 27, 2012 at Messiah Lutheran Church, 123 6th Avenue East, Assiniboia.
