Louis Dauvin

The death of Louis Victor Dauvin of Sackville, NB occurred peacefully on Wednesday, January 25, 2012 at the Drew Nursing Home, Sackville, NB in his 99th year.
Born November 24, 1913 in Joggins, NS he was a son of the late Joseph and Laure (Tilmant) Dauvin.
In his younger years Louis worked in the coal mines and later became an electrician, operating his own business known as “Port Elgin Electrical” for many years.
In his spare time Louis enjoyed fly fishing and operating his Ham Radio.
Louis will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his two sons, Joseph C. (Rose Marie), Amherst and Donald J. (Joyce), Sackville, NB; grandchildren, Darlene, Pamela and Scott; two great grandchildren Blake and Ellie; sisters, Renee Canning, Amherst and Lillian Goguen, Estero, Florida; as well as many nieces, nephews and brother in law Placid (Bucket) Robichaud and sister in law Vina McGraw.
Louis was predeceased by his wife the former, Alva M. Robichaud; sister, Leah (Lionel) Richard and brother, Victor (Connie).
There will be no visitation.
A memorial service will be held at Campbell’s Funeral Home, 98 Church St. (667-9906) Amherst at a later date to be announced.

    “GARY AND I WOULD LIKE TO EXTEND OUR DEEPEST SYMPATHY TO OUR FAMILY ON THE PASSING OF LOUIS. I REMEMBER GOING TO LOUIS AND ALVA'S MANY TIMES AS A YOUNG GIRL TO VISIT. COULD SOMEONE IN THE FAMILY PLEASE INFORM US OF THE DATE OF THE MEMORIAL SERVICE? WE WILL BE THINKING OF YOU AT THIS TIME.
