Rose Marie McCurdy was born on November 25, 1963 to Don and Florence McCurdy.
Rose loved camping and fishing was going to buy a motor home so she could just hop in and go – a true picture of her free spirit. Rose was always straight forward and easy going. She enjoyed going out dancing and listening to music with her partner of 11 years, Allan Smith.
Rose had a good friend in Bob Johnson, father to the girls. He was a big supporter, a shoulder to lean on
and always willing to help with the girls and grandchildren.
Rose worked in housekeeping for Northern Health. She enjoyed the work and the challenge.
Rose passed away on Friday, December 23, 2011 at the age of 48 years.
A Funeral Service was held on Thursday, January 5, 2012 at 1:00 pm from Reynars Funeral Home. Pauline Haycock officiated. Interment follow
ed in the Dawson Creek City Cemetery.
Rose was predeceased by her parents, Florence and Don and brother, Jim.
She is survived by her partner, Allan, daughters; Connie (Myles), Jennifer (Josh), Pamila (Chad), grandchildren; Gavin, Naomi, Enna, Griffen & Baily.
