It is with sad hearts we announce the passing of Margaret Helen Tweedy at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Hamilton on February 1, 2012, in her 83rd year.
Predeceased by her sister Dorothy, parents George and Mary Malcolm, and her cherished daughter Susan Sheridan. Beloved wife of John Tweedy for 60 years. Loving mother of Alison Tweedy, Anne and Tony Masek, and Mark Sheridan. Proud nana of Stephen, Laura and Sarah Masek, Rachel Tweedy and Meg Sheridan. Loved sister of George and Margaret Malcolm and sister-in-law of Mary Tweedy and Emma Storey. Margaret will be greatly missed by her many nieces and nephews.
According to Margaret’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held in Hamilton. A committal service and interment to be in Prince Edward Island.
