At the Riverview Manor in Montague on Thursday, February 2, 2012, of Ernest Robert Woodgate of Victoria Cross, age 83 years.
Dear husband of Edna Woodgate (nee Semple). Loving father of James (Gail), Victoria Cross; Donna (Sterling) MacLeod, Vernon River; Carl (Dianne), Bellevue; William (Isabel), Victoria Cross; George (Maude), Orwell Cove; and Barry (Florence), Victoria Cross. Cherished grandfather of 10 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Also survived by brother Ronald, Charlottetown.
Resting at Ferguson's Montague Funeral Home from where the service will take place in the funeral home chapel on Saturday at 2 p.m. Interment to take place in The Union Cemetery. Visitation: Friday 7-9 p.m. only.
If so desired, memorials to the Union Cemetery would be appreciated.
