Passed peacefully away at the Interfaith Citizen's Home, Carbonear on Wednesday, February 1, 2012, Maxwell G. Cooper of Lower Island Cove, age 87 years. Predeceased by wife: Nellie; parents: George and Susie; brother: Thomas; sisters: Audrey and Amy. Left to mourn, brother-in-law: Roy Price, Port Rexton; sister-in-law: Myrtle Turner, Winnipeg; a number of nephews, a niece, cousins and other relatives and friends. Capt. Weldon Hayward and Major Donna Hayward conducted the funeral service on Friday, February 3 at the Salvation Army Citadel, Lower Island Cove. Interment was in the Salvation Army Cemetery, Lower Island Cove. Donations in his memory may be made to the Salvation Army Citadel Maintenance Fund or a charity of one's choice.
