It is with sadness that the family of Helen Gage announces her passing on Feb 3, 2012 at the age of 93 years.
She is remembered with love and survived by her son Dale (Kathy) Gage, grandchildren Sandy (Marlene), Trevor (Rae), Nadine (Dale), great-grandchildren Jacob, Lane, Brody, Owen and Lexi, daughter-in-law Doris, sister Marge (Jack) Moulton and many extended family members.
Helen was predeceased by her beloved husband Harold (Doc) and sons Ron and Larry.
Born and raised in Vancouver she married the love of her life “Doc” in 1937 and together they raised their sons in Richmond, BC. They moved to Kamloops in the 60’s and retired to their much-loved Heffley Lake in 1979. Many happy memories of the times spent together at “The Lake” have been shared by family and friends. Gramma was known for her hospitality and she loved a good visit. We will treasure our times spent with her. She will always be remembered as a pillar of amazing strength that has guided our family based on values of honesty, integrity but most of all love.
As per her request, there will no formal service, instead please join our family for tea in celebration of her life at: The Renaissance Retirement Residence- Main Dining Room, 628 Tranquille Road, Kamloops on Saturday, February 11, 2012 at 2 PM.
