Harold Grover MacLellan
Harold Grover MacLellan, age 77 of Brantford, ON, formerly of Churchville, Nova Scotia, passed away peacefully at his home on Feb. 9, 2012 in Brantford, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Harold was born in Plymouth, NS and was the son of the late Roderick and Margaret MacLellan.
Harold is survived by two sons, Darryl, Brantford and Paul, Brighton, Michigan, US. Also grandchildren Sarah, Josh, Nathan and Jacob and three great-grandchildren. He is also survived by sisters, June Fisher and Valerie (Gordon) Best, one brother, Wayne (Charlene) MacLellan also three sisters-in-law: Julia, Alice and Lena MacLellan and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his souldmate Rita Tourcotte, brothers: Gordon, Edward, Allan, Clarence, Robert and Roy, also sisters: Rose, Betty and Bonnie.
Harold lived in Paris and Brantford, ON, for many years. He was employed by Babcock and Wilcox in Galt, ON and Massey Ferguson in Brantford ON, where he was a welder in both places.
Harold’s funeral will be held in Brantford, ON at Beckett and Glaves Funeral Home where cremation will follow. There will be a private family committal service at the Springville Cemetary, NS at a later date.
Donations in memory of Harold may be made to the Cancer Society or a charity of your choice.
