A loving farewell from family and friends was held Feb. 10, 2012, for Blaine. A celebration of the talent and success of a unique man.
A husband, cherished by his wife, Ildiko Horvath, whose endless care and love is so appreciated by his family.
A father loved by daughter, Tana (Scott) and son, Kirk (Melissa) and grandchildren, Hayden, Maddison, Jaxson and Jayden.
Missed by his children’s mother, Shirley (Dave) and the Jackson family.
A brother, whose loss saddened his sisters, Myrna (Elroy) MacDonald, Linda (Gerard Gouthro) Stewart and brother, Darryl (Joan) MacDonald and 10 nephews and 11 nieces. Remembered by the Shepard and MacDonald cousins.
Son of the late Tom and Verna (Shepard) MacDonald. Predeceased by sisters, Juanita and Elizabeth and brothers-in-law, Roger Gill, Robert Hiscott Sr. and Greg Stewart.
Thanks to lifetime friend and pallbearer, Russell Matheson, a South Street boy, whose visits brightened Blaine’s days with reminders of their boyhood escapades.
As we share collections of his artistic and musical accomplishments and recall with laughter his comedic and karate antics, we are overcome with pride and gratitude for his wonderful life.
Memorials to Children’s Wish appreciated, so a sick child can feel joy in the midst of the daily struggles, which Blaine too experienced recently.
