Teressa J. (Terry) Smart
April 21, 1921 – March 5, 2012
On the evening of March 5, 2012 Mom chose to take her last breath and leave her family for a well earned rest. Born in Elkhorn, Manitoba to Joseph Howard Lee and Jessie Watt Laing, she is survived by 2 daughters, Lynn Murton, St. Albert, AB and Lee Martin (Randall), Eagle Bay, BC, 3 grandchildren Cheryl Munson (Rick), Greg Murton (Kim) and Heather Chenard (Cory) as well as 2 great-grandchildren Memphis Chenard and Gabriella Munson as well as twins expected in the Spring. Mom is also survived by 3 sisters, Bette, Belle and Audrey and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Ken (1958) and her parents, brother Art (2007) and son-in-law Michael (2008). A Celebration of Mom’s life will be held in early Summer in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan following which her cremains will be interred at Prince Albert Memorial Gardens. Details to be announced at a later date. No flowers please. Memorial donations in Mom’s memory can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
