Passed peacefully away on Wednesday, March 7, 2012 with his family at his bedside at Carbonear General Hospital, Samuel Upshall, aged 95 years. Predeceased by infant son David, brother Charles, and loving wife and soulmate Elizabeth (February 17, 2007). Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories sons: Maynard Upshall (Mary), Willis (Joan); daughter Mabel Allen (Herbert); six grandchildren: Beverley Wiscombe (Fred), Don Upshall (Judy and son Devon), Holly Caul (Martin), Debbie Fahey (Peter), Vicki Upshall-Gould (Jeff and children: Tristan and Shaunna) and Nicole Piercey (Jamie); four great-grandchildren: Cassandra Green, Sara Schimp, Michelle Caul and Kristyn Fahey; brother Freeman Upshall and sister Hazel Ingram; sister-in-law Georgina Bailey; brothers-in-law: Lloyd Ingram (Pat), Moses Ingram (Kathleen) and a large circle of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Holloways Funeral Home, Whitbourne. Resting at St. Andrews Anglican Church, Little Harbour East.
