The death occurred in Victoria, B.C., on November 3, 2009 of James Francis Hamill, age 64, son of Beryl Lawless and the late James Hamill. Brother of Carol Anne (David) Edwards, Sandra McCourt (Tony Richard), Phyllis Hamill (Paul Hagan) and Milly Hamill. Stepbrother of Miriam Morris, Norma McIver, Marina Lawless and Frank (Celia) Lawless. Uncle of eight nieces and nephews; granduncle of 13 grandnieces and grandnephews. He was predeceased by brother, Paul Hamill; sisters, Roberta Pauptit and Valerie Hamill James; stepfather, James Lawless; and stepbrother, Lloyd Lawless.
Funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Malachy's Church, Kinkora, on Monday, December 28, 2009, at 10 a.m. Burial in the church cemetery.
