Passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 18, 2012, at St. Michael’s Hospital, Toronto, after a short illness, at the age of 51 years.
Beloved wife of Michael MacDonald for 26 years. Loving mother of Barja and Michael. Dear grandmother of Meriyah. She is also survived by seven sisters; four brothers and many nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
She will be sadly missed by all who knew her, especially her best friends, Annabelle, Kirton and Garvin Herbert Jr.
Predeceased by her parents, James and Matilda Desmond.
Visitation at Highland Funeral Home, Scarborough Chapel, 3280 Sheppard Ave. E., Scarborough, Ont. (416-773-0933) on Saturday, March 24, 2012 from 5-9 p.m. and on Sunday, March 25, 2012, from 1 p.m. until the time of service in the chapel at 2 p.m. Private cremation.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
