Ailie Ann Inverarity

Inverarity, Ailie Ann
Ailie Ann Inverarity of Dinsmore, SK passed away peacefully on March 16, 2012 at the age of 92. She was born on September 3, 1919, daughter of Lydia and Ben Koski at the family farm in the Star Center District south of Dinsmore, SK. After leaving school, Ailie spent several years looking after her ailing mother and working on the family farm. During the war years she worked in Ontario but returned home again to help on the farm. In 1947 she married Fred Inverarity and together they farmed in the King George municipality. They had three children, Barbara, Marian, and Lorne. In 1981 Fred and Ailie retired to Moose Jaw but they continued to travel back to the farm to help out. Family and farming were huge in their lives! When Fred passed in 2001, Ailie moved back to Dinsmore. In recent years she was a resident of the Prairie Manor. Ailie will be fondly remembered for her warm and caring manner and her willingness to help in whatever way she could. Although her passing is sad, she has left us with many wonderful memories.
Ailie is survived by her children: Barbara (Harold) Beach of Moose Jaw, SK, Marian Rudisill (partner, Pat) of Summerland, BC and Lorne Inverarity of Dinsmore, SK; 7 grandchildren: Trevor Beach of Moose Jaw, SK, Tracy Thibeault of Red Deer, AB, Jeni Rudisill of Whitehorse, YT, Carey Rudisill of Ahousaht, BC, Amy Rudisill of Portland, OR, Travis Inverarity of Milden, SK, Justin Inverarity of Dinsmore, SK; 11 great-grandchildren: Dustin, Dakota and Logan Beach of Coderre, SK, Mathew Miller and Megan Thibeault of Red Deer, Liam and Sabine Keesey of Whitehorse, Ayden Powell of Ahousaht, Ella and Taylor Inverarity of Milden, and Harley Krawchuk-Boyle of Vancouver; two sisters-in-law, Alvina Inverarity of Lucky Lake, SK and Merle Wraithe of Innisfail, AB and numerous nieces and nephews.
