LAXTON 1942 ~ 2007 Lynn Laxton (nee Scoular) of Kamloops passed away surrounded by her family, after a short, courageous battle with cancer on June 21, 2007 at 64 years of age. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband George; children Dawn (Reid) of Vancouver, Sean (Dallas), Doug, and Corey, all of Kamloops; seven grandchildren; two great grandchildren; brothers Rodger (Cathy) Scoular and Ian Scoular; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents Walter and Ethel Scoular; sister Beryl; and her first husband Don Boland. Lynn was born in Kamloops on August 25, 1942. A loving and caring woman, she was a figure skating coach, homemaker and she worked at Zellers for many years. She will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by everyone she touched. The family wishes to thank Dr. Newmarch and the nursing staff of 3 South at Royal Inland Hospital. At Lynn's request, no formal ceremony will be held.
