At Perrin's Clinton View Lodge, Clinton, on Sunday, March 25, 2012, of Ivan B. Bowness, aged 88 years and his wife Glenna B. (Clark) Bowness, aged 89 years formerly of Norboro. Ivan was born in Norboro on July 1, 1923, son of the late Lorne B. and Ella L. (Burrows) Bowness. Glenna was born in Kensington on March 24, 1923, daughter of the late David and Annie (Campbell) Clark. Father and Mother of Valerie (Joseph) Keenan, Winnipeg, Manitoba; Pat (John) Drake, Sherwood Park, Alta.; Kyler Bowness, Summerside; and Kathy (Jim) Clark, Clinton. Also survived by daughter-in-law Laura Bowness, Summerside. Grandparents to Rob (Diana) Keenan, Jennifer (Rob) Holland, Jason Drake, Michael (Christine) Drake, Grace Bowness, Frank Bowness, Melissa Morse, Tessa Morse and Tori Clark. Great-grandparents to Christopher Keenan, Tommy Holland and Porter Holland. Sister and brother-in-law of Norma Mayne, Clinton; Jessie (Keith) Ramsay, Clinton; and sister-in-law Verna Clark, Kensington. Predeceased by Ivan's brother Arthur Bowness and Glenna's brothers and sisters Thelma Schurman, Walter Clark, Vincent Clark, Hattie Clark, Jenny Harnish, Grace Mayne, Bruce Clark and Jim Clark. Resting at the Davison Funeral Home, Kensington, for visitation on Wednesday from 4 to 7 p.m. Funeral Thursday in the Davison Funeral Home Chapel, Kensington, at 10:30 a.m. Interment will later take place in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Valley. If so desired, contributions may be made to the Prince County Hospital Foundation or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
