Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Centre in St. John’s on Thursday, March 22, 2012, Mrs. Rita Mary Snook, age 66 years of Harbour Breton. Leaving to mourn her loving family: children, Johnnie, at Grand Falls-Windsor, Mary (Joseph Savoury) and Amanda (Allan Poole) at Whitecourt, AB, Shirley Roberts at Hermitage, Basil (Lisa) at Harbour Breton, Jeremy (Victoria) at CBS, and Ryan at Barrie, ON; twelve grandchildren and four great grandchildren; brothers, George Skinner
(Kathleen) at Harbour Breton, Basil at High Level, AB, and Rodney (Edith) at Harbour Breton; sister, Carrie Snook (Michael) at Harbour Breton; plus many close friends, and other relatives and friends. Predeceased by her husband, John, on March 11, 2007; brothers, Ronald and John Edward; sister, Frances Stoodley; parents, Mary and William Skinner.
Funeral service was held on Monday, March 26, 2012 at 2:00 pm from St. Bartholomew’s Anglican Church in Harbour Breton with Rev. Juanita Freeman officiating. Interment followed at the Anglican
Cemetery in Harbour Breton.
