Passed suddenly away at his residence on Monday March 26, 2012 Gordon Boyd Ford of Charlottetown in his 79th year. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his wife Annie, sons: Randy and wife Linda of Keswick, Ont. Glen and girlfriend Suzanne of St. John’s, daughter Carolyn Byrne and husband Paul of Hamilton, Ont. Grandchildren: Rebecca, Kyle, Jessica and Jeremy, sisters: Emma Abbott (Melvin), Anne Colbert (Walter) and Ethel Chaulk plus a large circle of other family and friends. Pre-deceased by parents Annie and Hector, brothers: William and Hedley and sister Josie. Funeral service was officiated by Candidate Daniel Kelly on Thursday March 29, 2012 from Salvation Army Church Charlottetown with internment following at Charlottetown Cemetery. Pallbearers were: Kyle Ford, Dave Ford, Kevin Ford, Paul Byrne, Rick Chatman, Fred Nicholl, Lawrence Reid, Dennis Chaulk. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Blundon’s Funeral Home – Shoal Harbour
