KENNEDY, ETTA PEARLE (BRIGGS) - The death of Etta Pearle (Briggs) Kennedy of Maquapit Lake occurred Thursday, March 29th, 2012, at the Oromocto Public Hospital. Born in Ripples, NB she was the daughter of the late Hazen and Lena (Colwell) Briggs. Pearle is survived by sons Terry Kennedy (Judy) of Clarks Corner, NB, and Floyd Kennedy of Prince George, BC; daughters Gloria Buckley (Max) of Blackville, NB, Sheila Markham (Harry) of Toronto, ON and Wendy Kennedy (Donnie) of Minto, NB; a brother Lorne Briggs of Newcastle Center; 11 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Pearle was predeceased by her husband Raymond; two grandsons; brothers Charlie, Herbie and Harold; and sisters Genevieve and Faye. The family would like to thank Peter Coakley and the girls from Forever Young Special Care Home in Maqupit Lake for all of their love and support.
Resting at Hogg Funeral Services (10 King Street, Minto, NB, 327-3490) with visiting on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9PM. A Funeral Service will be held 2:00 PM, Saturday, March 31st, 2012 in the Minto Community Chapel.
