Passed peacefully away at Charles S. Curtis Memorial Hospital in St. Anthony, on March 21, 2012, Gideon White of Sandy Cove, NL, at the age of 75 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Maria; children Gary (Linda), Vicky (Aaron), Dale (Morris), and Jody (Frank); grandchildren Joey (Josie), Brittany, Gillian, Zackary, and Mia; great-grandchildren Parker and Rylan; sisters Cora, and Thamsie; sister-in-law Lillian; brothers-in-law Levi, and Wilfred. He was predeceased by his father John Albert, mother Rosanna, brother George Henry, sisters Theresa and Minnie. Visitation was held at the St. Thomas Anglican Church, Sandy Cove. The funeral service took place at 1 o’clock on Sunday, March 25 with Rev. Marlene Harvey officiating.
