Born December 13, 1916 at Vancouver General Hospital, Gordon arrived home to Roberts Creek two weeks later.
Second son of Gertrude and John Reeves; brother to John, Shiela and Ada.
Gordon lived the dream on the Sunshine Coast for 95 years.
Gordie is survived by his loving wife of 15 years, Geraldine; sister Ada; children Joan, Barrie, Phillip and Kelly; his large extended family; nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Gordon retired from BC Hydro in 1982 after a long, fulfilling and rewarding career.
Gordie enjoyed gardening, fishing, hunting, hiking, boating and exploring the Sunshine Coast and BC.
He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Services will be held at Bethel Baptist Church (corner of Mermaid and Trail) on Saturday, April 7, at 2pm. Tea to follow.
