Anna Banks

The death occurred at the Wedgewood Manor, Summerside, on Wednesday, April 4, 2012, of Anna Banks, of Summerside, aged 87 years.
Born in Port Hill, she was the daughter of the late Percy and Catherine (MacIntyre) Kilbride. Survived by her children Tim Banks (Carrie McNabb), Charlottetown; Gail Banks, Summerside; Tom Banks, Charlottetown; Diane “Lulie” Vessey, North Rustico; grandchildren Cain (Renée) Arsenault, Daniel Banks; Puddy Banks, Joshua Vessey, Lydia Banks, Micah Banks, Josiah Banks, great-granddaughter Cali Gail Arsenault; sister Loretta Badke; sisters-in-law Betty Kilbride, Mary Johnson, Freda Banks, and Ruby Smith; brothers-in-law Kenny (Verna) Banks and Earle Banks; and by numerous nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her husband Robert “Bob” Banks; children Keith, Kenneth and Mary Banks; brothers Lorne, Gussie and Gerald Kilbride; sisters Eva Yeo, Eleanor Brown, Kay Kimbal, Lorraine MacIntyre and Theresa O’Brien; brothers-in-law Cody Banks, Irving Smith, Byron Banks, Sterling Banks, Stuart Banks; and by sister-in-law Marilyn Banks.
Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, until Monday, then to St. Paul's Church, Summerside, for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment later in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Valley. Visiting hours Saturday from 2-4 and 7- 9 p.m.
Members of St. Paul’s Catholic Women’s League will have a prayer service at the funeral home, Saturday at 6:45 p.m.
Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated.
