Priestville - Jean Kathryn Brown, age 90, of Priestville, passed away Thursday, April 5, 2012 in the Aberdeen Hospital New Glasgow. Born in Trenton she was the daughter of the late John Daniel and Mary Helen (Wilson) Brown. Jean could always be found helping and volunteering with seniors and people in need. She was a faithful member of the Salvation Army for many years. She is survived by her brother: Alex (Shirley), Ohio; many nieces and nephews and many great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by brothers: William, John, Walter, Charles “Buster”. Visitation 2-4 and 7-9 pm Monday in the R.H. Porter Funeral Home, New Glasgow from where funeral service will be held at 11am Tuesday with Capt. Neil Abbott officiating. Burial will be in Priestville Cemetery at a later date.
