CORMIER, RHÉALDINE - Rhéaldine (Rhéa) Cormier of Dover passed away peacefully on April 6, 2012, at the age of 62, at The Moncton Hospital after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Born in Dover on October 21, 1949, she was the daughter of the late Alfred (Fred) LeBlanc and the late Lea LeBlanc. She will be deeply missed by her husband of 42 years, Francis (Frank), her two children, Lisa (Dwayne) Meagher of Limoges, ON and Marc (Natacha) of Little Dover, as well as her four precious and adored grandchildren, Francis, Jessie, Jacob and Mélodie. She is survived by her twin brother, Rhéal (Pam) of Dover, her sisters Alfreda (Alfred) Gautreau, Bernice (Paul) Belliveau, Marie-Louise (Edgar) Belliveau of Dieppe and Diane (late Yvon) Poirier of Irishtown, and brothers Willie (Gertrude), Paul ((Jeannette) of Dieppe, Pierre-Francis (Jeannine) of Bathurst, and Roger (Jeanne-Mance) of Little Dover. A nephew Donald and a niece Julie predeceased her. She will also be missed by the Cormier family and by numerous nieces and nephews.
All who knew Rhéaldine will always remember her for her courage and determination during all the years of her illness. She enjoyed life with her family, especially in seeing her grandchildren grow up. She had loving support from her husband who was devoted to her care, and from many friends and family, more particularly by those she referred to as her ‘angels’ who were there for her. She was always so grateful for their help and kindness. Rhéaldine’s family wishes to thank the special nurses of the Blanche-Bourgeois Extra-Mural Program for their excellent service and compassionate care during her illness and her physicians, in particular Dr. Rubin and his staff for their help and support.
The family will receive condolences at the Dupuis Funeral Home, 15 Route La Vallée, Memramcook (506) 758-2658. Visiting hours on Monday, April 9 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 and on Tuesday, April 10 from 2:00 to 4:00.
