BELL, STEPHEN THOMAS - The passing of Stephen Thomas Bell of Fredericton, NB, husband of Lourdes “Lou” (Buggie) Bell occurred on Saturday, April 7, 2012. Born on April 28, 1954 in Fredericton, NB, he was the son of Thomas Bell and the late Dorothy (Cooke) Bell. Stephen was a graduate of FHS-Class of 1972; he then graduated from UNB in 1976 with a BA. He worked at Northumberland Dairy for 33 years. Stephen enjoyed sports, darts, camping, travelling and politics. In addition to his wife, Stephen is survived by his daughter, Stephanie Bell (Ryan Gantner) of Vancouver, BC; sister, Linda Bell of Fredericton, NB; brother, Keith Bell (Gillian) of Oxford, England; uncle, Claude Bell (Bernice) of Charlottetown, PEI; brothers in law, Lynus Buggie of Renous, NB, Bill Buggie (Karen) of Fredericton, NB, Hollis Buggie (Eleanor) of Calgary, AB, Lyman Buggie of Fort McMurray, AB, Mike Buggie (Cheryl) of Renous, NB and Rodney Buggie (Lori) of Blackville, NB; several nieces and nephews. Besides his mother, he was predeceased by his mother and father in law, Lyman and Carmelette (Donovan) Buggie and sister in law, Margie Buggie; several aunts and uncles.
Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Tuesday, April 10, 2012 from 7 to 9 pm and Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A Funeral Service will take place at St. Dunstan’s Roman Catholic Parish on Thursday, April 12, 2012 at 12 noon with Father John Jennings as celebrant. Interment will take place in St. Bridget’s Cemetery, Renous, NB at a later date. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, New Brunswick Kidney Foundation or the charity of the donor’s choice.
