Peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Saturday, April 21, 2012, of Eldred Farmer of Stratford, age 70 years. Beloved husband of Paula Farmer (nee Reddin) and loving father of Maura Stevens and Patrick Farmer. Eldred is also survived by his grandson Bradley Stevens. He was predeceased by his parents Walter and Mary Ellen Farmer and his sister Margaret Catherine Farmer (in infancy). Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home, Stratford. No visitation by family request. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, April 25, at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, Stratford, at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Family will receive friends and acquaintances at a reception in the church hall after the interment. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
