CORMIER, JOSEPH - Joseph Gerald Cormier of Richmond Corner, NB, passed away at the Upper River Valley Hospital in Waterville on Sunday, April 22, 2012, at the age of 62. Joseph was born in Grand Falls, NB, son of the late Phillipe and Simone (Bernier) Cormier. He is survived by his wife, Mary Cormier; one son, Darrell (Erynn) Cormier of Miscoueche, PEI; one daughter Giselle (Tony) VanDerwyst of Meridian, Idaho; and one step-son, John (Joanne) Spavold of Temperance Vale, NB. He is also survived by two brothers, Noel (Linda) Cormier of Grand Falls, NB, and Ivan (Ann) Cormier of Oshawa, Ont; three sisters, Ann (Richard) Watson of Grand Falls, NB, Dianne (Jean-Marie) Michaud of St. Leonard, NB, and Claudette (Wade) Dauphinee of Moncton, NB; six grandchildren, Alex, Cody Lee, Devon, Drew, Jack and Lauryn. Besides his parents, Joseph was pre-deceased by four brothers, Leo, Mario, Billy and Raymond.
Resting at the Scott Funeral Home, 815 Main Street, Woodstock, NB, with visiting on Tuesday, April 24th, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 25th, at 11:00 am from St. Michel Catholic Church, Drummond, NB. Father Pierre Thibodeau will be officiating, with interment in the St. Michel Catholic Cemetery. www.scottfh.com
