The death occurred in Victoria, B.C., on November 3, 2009 of James Francis Hamill, age 64, son of Beryl Lawless and the late James Hamill. Brother of Carol Anne (David) Edwards, Sandra McCourt (Tony Richard), Phyllis Hamill (Paul Hagan) and Milly Hamill. Stepbrother of Miriam Morris, Norma McIver, Marina Lawless and Frank (Celia) Lawless. Uncle of eight nieces and nephews; grand-uncle of thirteen grand-nieces and grand-nephews. He was predeceased by brother Paul Hamill, sisters Roberta Pauptit and Valerie Hamill James, stepfather James Lawless and stepbrother Lloyd Lawless. Funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Malachy's Church, Kinkora on Monday, December 28, 2009 at 10 a.m. Burial in the church cemetery.
