John Joseph Savidant
Peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Tuesday, April 24, 2012 of Joe Savidant of Charlottetown, age 80 years.
Beloved husband of Joan Savidant (nee Bentley) and loving father of Joanne Sharpe. Joe is also survived by his granddaughters - Laura and Sara Sharpe; grandson - David Sharpe; brother - Henry Savidant and his sister - Anna Giles (Donald). He was predeceased by his son David Savidant; parents - Leo and Annie Savidant; brother - Leo Savidant and his sister - Jean Baker.
Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home, 2 Hollis Ave., Stratford, for visitation on Wednesday, April 25, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday, April 26 at St. Pius X Church, Charlottetown at 11 a.m. Interment will take place at St. Patrick's Cemetery, Fort Augustus.
As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to QEH Stroke Unit, would be appreciated.
Knights of Columbus will hold a prayer service at the funeral home Wednesday evening at 6:30 p.m.
