Duncan Morrison

Duncan Morrison, son of the late Angus and Mary Jane (Rudderham) Morrison passed away on April 26, 2012.
Duncan, a veteran of the Second World War, enjoyed fishing, camping, building homes and travelling. He was a member of the Point Edward Naval Base Fire Department in Point Edward Cape Breton.
He is survived by his only daughter, Janie Leon (Brian); grandchildren, Amy Long and Paul Leon (Michelle); great-grandchildren, Valarie Long, Jocelyn Leon and Ivy Rose Leon; sister, Isabelle Mancini; sisters-in-law, Lily Campbell and Mary-Lou Morrison; brother-in-law, Cecil Campbell.
He was preceded by his wife, Ivy Elizabeth; brother, Francis; brothers-in-law, Clifton Christie, Henry Clements, Humber Gentile and Doug Campbell; sisters-in-law, Frances Christie, Marguerite Clements, Marion Gentile and Ruby Campbell.
Cremation has taken place and a graveside service will be held at St. Marks Cemetery on Saturday, April 28, 2012 at 2 p.m.
Family flowers only and memorials can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Veterans Memorial Hospital, Halifax.
