Sabine (Marshall), Linda Lorraine - 64 of Great Village, Truro, passed away peacefully at home on April 25, 2012. With her soft spoken mannerism, Linda was a R.N. and spent several years helping others in nursing homes in Digby and then in Truro. In her later years of retirement Linda liked to, garden, crochet, cross stitch, read and research her family history. Linda is survived by her mother, Esther L. Marshall (Everett), Digby; brothers, Lawrence (Carolyn) Marshall, Sussex, NB; Roger (Sharon) Marshall, Digby; Bruce Marshall, Halifax; nieces, Carolann, Julie, Kelly, Leah, Lorenda, nephews, Kirk, Derek, Rodney and Kevin also several great-nieces and nephews. Linda was predeceased by husband, Robert Sabine and her father, Hubert Marshall. Funeral service took place at 2pm, on Sunday April 29, from Jayne’s Funeral Home, 7 Birch St. Digby (245-2525). Pastor Peter Hayes presided. Interment in Church of Christ Cemetery, Southville. Donations in memory of Linda, may be made to I.W.K or a charity of your choice.
