David G. Oland of Arlington, Mass. died Dec. 24, 2011.
Beloved son of Mrs. Helena F. (Burden) and the late William H. Oland, of Arlington. Brother of Deborah M. Daigle of Port Williams, N.S. He is also survived by his devoted cousins, Brenda Wesinger, Carol Errico and Clarance ‘Clary’ Palmer.
David was an avid sportsman, ham radio operator, he was a member of the Mystic Valley Lodge AF and AM in Arlington, and was employed for 40 years in the computer industry.
Interment for David Oland will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 2, 2012, at St. Mark’s Cemetery, Coxheath, with Rev. Feltmate officiating. A reception will follow at the Delta Sydney, 300 Esplanade, Sydney, from 2-4 p.m.
