(September 17, 1923 – April 29, 2012) Passed peacefully away at the Agnes Pratt Home on Sunday, April 29, 2012, Mae Peddle formally from Hodge’s Cove. Predeceased by her husband and best friend Clarence (April 2008); her parents Leander & Beatrice Peddle; brothers: Wilson, Graham, Jack, Hubert; sister Mabel Stringer; granddaughter Susan Tiller; and sons-in-law: Bruce Tiller and Arthur Penney. Leaving to mourn her children Dianne (Bruce Kearley), Gail (Bill Perks), Paul (Heather); grandchildren: Nicolle Boone (Dwayne), Andrea Payne (Geoff), Mark & Laura Peddle; great-grandchildren: Rebecca & Noah Boone, and Emily & Josh Payne; special nieces: Sandra Oliver and Sharon Whalen; as well as many other relatives and friends. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Ave., on Tuesday, May 1, from 2-4pm and 7-9pm, and on Wednesday, May 2, 10am-12noon. Funeral service to take place from Barrett’s Funeral Chapel on Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at 2:00pm. Cremation to follow.
