Peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, with her sister by her side, on Sunday, April 29, 2012 of Elaine McGuigan of Charlottetown, age 82 years.
Elaine is the daughter of the late Wilfred Lewis and Josephine (McCarey) McGuigan. She is lovingly remembered by her sister Frances Christopher; niece Barbara (Barry) Bain; grandnieces Amy Bain, Shelley (Steven) MacNeill; grandnephews, Jonathan Bain, Adam Christopher, Kaiden MacKinnon; and her best friend Marion Mutch. She was also predeceased by her nephew Paul Christopher.
Resting at the Hennessey Funeral Home until 9:45 on Thursday morning, then transferred to the Church of the Most Holy Redeemer for funeral mass at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown. Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday 2 to 5 p.m.
