It is with great sadness that the family of the late Harriett Nicolle announce her passing at the Bonne Bay Health Centre in Norris Point on Tuesday, May 1st, 2012 at the age of 92 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her children: Clifford of Rocky Harbour, Walter (Vida) of Parsons Pond, Wilson (Joyce) of Rocky Harbour, Eileen Nicolle of Corner Brook, Diana Nicolle of Steady Brook, Linda (Irving) Decker of Rocky Harbour, James (Laverne) of PEI, Wade (Rachel) of NB, Kevin (Karen) of Saint John, NB, Lora (John) Allen of Edmonton, AB, Dora (Guy) Timmons of Saint John, NB, Gary (Jenine) of Orillia, ON and Ernest of Toronto, ON. Her son-in-law Clayton Pittman of Corner Brook, 45 grandchildren, 74 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great-grandchildren. Her sisters Pearl Butt of AB, Isabella (Bud) Wilson of US, Carrie (Ned) Payne of Stephenville, sisters-in-law Mona Major of Rocky Harbour and Thelma Major of ON. Also a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Phillip, children: George (Geraldine), Shirley Pittman, Irene Nicolle and Raymond Nicolle, grandsons: Paul and Terry, granddaughters: Tina and Sherry, daughter-in-law Olive, son-in-law Keith, siblings: George, Jack (Violet), Walter, Jane Sparkes (Gus), Evelyn (Jack) Ellsworth, parents George & Frances. Visitation will take place from the Gospel Hall in Rocky Harbour today, Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. from where the funeral service will take place on Thursday at 2:00 p.m. with Wallace Buckle and Stephen Joyce officiating, interment to follow at the family plot.
