At the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Monday, May 7, 2012, of Mrs. Edna Roberts (nee Rooney) of Charlottetown and formerly of Priest Pond in her 64th year.
Beloved wife of John (Jack) Roberts and dear mother of Todd Ellis, Rebecca (Tyler) Campbell and Karla (Dennis) Foote. Lovingly remembered by her granddaughters Stephanie Keenan and Tatiana Ellis. Stepmother of Scott Roberts, Mary Beth (Jimmy) MacDougall, Glenn (Marcia) Roberts and their children. Edna is also survived by her brother Joe (Theresa) Rooney, sisters Carol Cusack, Teresa (Sam) Habbi, Martha Cusack, numerous nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews.
Resting at the Hennessey Funeral Home. There will be no visiting hours by personal request. Funeral mass will be celebrated at the Church of the Most Holy Redeemer on Thursday at 10 a.m. All are welcome. Interment will take place later in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Edna may be made to the P.E.I. Humane Society.
