Jan. 7, 1952 - May 8, 2012. Passed away peacefully from a 5 month struggle of cancer surrounded by his family. Predeceased by mother Lilly Maud, father Clarence and son-in-law Patrick Pearcey. Left to mourn wife Julia of 38 years and daughters: Lisa (Rob), Dana (deceased Patrick) and Lauralee (Darrell); grandchildren: Salina, Cody, Madison, Cole, Steven and Ryan; brothers: best friend and brother Charlie (Ros), Reg (Lorraine), Albert (Elizabeth), Joe, Don; sisters: Laura (Jim), Maye (Stan), Effie (Bill), Edith (Harold). Large circle of family and friends. Private visitation followed by cremation. No flowers by request, donations may be made to Canadian Diabetes Association in Aid of Cody Porter, grandson.
