Violet and Bill were married in Moose Jaw in 1948 and lived and farmed in the Ormiston district until 1961 when they moved to the farm at Grand Coulee and later to Pilot Butte in 1984 when Bill retired.
Violet enjoyed sports, farming, gardening, baking, and most of all spending time with her family and her Church family. In her later years, she quietly enjoyed being with family at the lake, camping, soaking up the sun, or most especially, watching her grandchildren and great-grandchildren at their many sporting events.
