Passed peacefully at the Charles S. Curtis Memorial Hospital in St. Anthony on May 9, 2012, Mrs. Laura Watton of St. Anthony, NL, in her 97th year. Leaving to mourn her daughter Peggy as well as many nieces and nephews and extended family and friends. She was predeceased by her parents Arthur and Jessie Patey, brothers George, Garland, Joseph and Donald, sister Dorothy and Charlotte. Visitation was held at the funeral home followed by the funeral service at 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 12 with Rev. Stephanie McClellan officiating. Interment followed at Fishing Point United Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Kerry M. Fillatre Funeral Homes, St. Anthony and Roddickton, Siobhan Mauger, funeral director.
