DAIGLE, EDOUARD A. - 1935-2012 - Edouard A. Daigle, 76, of Dieppe, passed away on Wednesday, May 16th, 2012, at the Dr.-Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Center. Born in St.-Charles-de-Kent, NB, he was the son of the late Oscar and the late Delphine (née: Arsenault) Daigle. Mr. Daigle had retired from the CN and was a member of Ste-Thérèse parish. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Doris (née: Robichaud); three daughters: Carol-Ann (Roland) LeBlanc of Barachois, Janet (Edgar) Saulnier of Memramcook and Jacqueline Keroack of Moncton; four sisters: Loretta (Terry) Doucette of Wedgeport, NS, Laura Renaud of Hawksbury, ON, Anita (Mike) Regan of Vankleek Hill, ON and Norma (Tony) Zuorro of Moncton; one brother, Valmond Daigle of Miramichi; six grandchildren: Christine, Edouard, Kathrine, Stephanie, Gabriel and Jean-Luc; one great-grandson, Howlan, as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by one sister, Maria and also by two brothers: Jérome and Norbert.
Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB (857-1901) on Friday from 2 to 4 and from 7 to 9 pm and also on Saturday from 10 am until time of departure. Funeral mass will be celebrated from Ste-Thérèse Roman Catholic Church, Dieppe, NB on Saturday, May 19th, 2012 at 11 am. Interment at Notre-Dame-du-Calvaire Cemetery, Dieppe, NB.
