It is with great sadness that the family of Daniel David MacNeil announce his passing in Fort McMurray, Alta. on Thursday, May 17, 2012.
Born Oct. 23, 1992, to John William MacNeil, Mill Creek and Laura-Lee Power-Chiasson (Guy), Alder Point.
David was a constant, cheerful presence in the many lives he touched. He was a member of the Labourers Union Local 92, presently working in Fort McMurray.
Besides his parents, David is survived by his brother, Michael (Hannah); grandparents, Daniel & Geraldine Power, Alder Point, Caroline MacNeil, Sydney Mines; his many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
David was predeceased by his grandfather, David MacNeil.
At the request of the family, there will be no visitation. A funeral service will be held at Wilson United Church in Florence on Wednesday, May 23, 2012 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Nick Phillips officiating. A reception will follow at the Royal Canadian Legion in Florence.
