MABEL HUBEL
July 25 1919 - April 16 2012
With great sadness we announce the passing of our dear Mom and Grandma Mabel. She was born in Canwood to Hans and Sina Monsebroten and married Edward Hubel in 1941. She lived in Prince Albert until 2004 and then moved to Sherwood Park, Alberta to be closer to her family. Mom was an avid baker and gardener and loved nothing more than her family and coffee time with friends at her table. She was a long time attendant of Messiah Lutheran Church and a founding member of Faith Circle there. She is survived by her two daughters, Donna (Gordon) Dawson and Marlene Ducommun. Grandchildren Kristofer (Teresa), Timothy, and Robert Dawson, Deborah (Sean) Cochlan, and David Ducommun, and great grandchildren Jonathan and Ava Cochlan. She is also survived by sisters, Grace Skidmore and Gladys Willoughby, and brothers, Henry, Arthur, Lawrence, and Arnold Monsebroten, along with many neices and nephews. Mom was predeceased by her husband Ed Hubel, parents, son in law Emmerson Ducommun and grandson Kelly Ducommun, brothers Harold and
infant brother Marvin. A service was held at the Country Cottage in Sherwood Park, the home she loved and made many close friends. Mabel was so very much a part of the fabric of all our lives and will be missed terribly. Internment at a later date in Prince Albert.
