Hilda Grace Freeman (nee Pearce) passed away at the Moose Jaw Union Hospital on Saturday, May 26, 2012. Hilda was born in Toronto, the middle of twelve children. Hilda worked at Nelson Chocolates for many years were she acquired the taste for chocolate as everyone knows. She married Raymond Freeman in 1939. They had three children. In 1974 they retired and moved to Moose Jaw. Hilda loved to knit, crochet and play cards. Hilda loved living at Timothy Eatons where she had many friends. She is survived by her sisters Irene, Eddie, Glady and Cindy (Earl); son Douglas Freeman - Camrose AB, daughter Sylvia Freeman - Forest, ON. and daughter Francis Fritzsche (Ross Ramage) - Moose Jaw, SK; grandchildren: Kim (Ken) Ruzicka – Viking, AB, David ( (Wendy) Freeman – Edmonton, Kurt Fritzsche – Edmonton, and Petra Fritzsche (Jon) Moose Jaw; great-grandchildren: Christine, Jennifer, Derek, Jesse, Jazmin and Jaxon. There will be no funeral. A come and go Memorial Tea will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Salvation Army or Moose Jaw & District Seniors.
