Lois Regina June Strickland
June 15, 1924 - May 31, 2012
Passed away at the Guelph General Hospital surrounded by her loving family.
Lois (nee Craig) Strickland is survived by her loving husband Stanley Strickland of almost 73 years. Survived by her cherished daughters: Juanita (Richard) Kutchcoski, Kaye (Harry) McCaughey, Marjorie (Alvin) Kirsch, and Paulette Strickland. Lois will be dearly missed by her loving grandchildren: Janet, Brenda and Bradley McCaughey, Darwin and Andrew Girling, Pamela Tremble and their spouses, Ryan Kutchcoski and Lorne Fach. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Survived by her dear sister Gladys Dolan.
Predeceased by 3 infant daughters; her great-grandson Adam Taylor; her parents Edwin and Minnie Pearl Craig; and 5 sisters: Carol Vandenburg, Elsie Craig, Hazel Oneus, Muriel Joyner, Marjorie Severin; and by her brother Haviland Craig.
Cremation has taken place. Interment will be take place at West Covehead Cemetery, Prince Edward Island, at a later date. At Lois' request, there will be no funeral service.
Arrangements entrusted to Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon St., Guelph.
