DOHERTY, Eileen Joan (Loomer) – 62, of Waterville, passed away on Saturday June 2, 2012 in the Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Berwick, she was a daughter of the late Everett and Bernice Loomer. Eileen will be sadly missed by her husband and best friend, of 36 years, Paul; sons Howard, PEI; David, Burlington; daughter Debbie, Berwick; brothers Steven and Peter, both of Burlington; sisters Phyllis, Barb, and Mary, all of Berwick; half brother Roger, Ontario; sister Esther, Black Rock; six grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she is predeceased by her half brother Wayne; and grandson Matt. Visitation was held on Tuesday, June 5 from 7-9 in the Serenity Lindsay Funeral Home, Berwick from where a funeral service took place on Wednesday at 2 p.m. with Pastor Christine Bigelow officiating. Private interment took place in the Black Rock Cemetery. Donations in her memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to a charity of your choice.
