Robert (Bob) Hebb
HEBB, Robert Scott “Bob” – 89 of Meadowvale and formerly of Nictaux Falls went into God’s loving arms on Friday, June 1, 2012 in Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital, Middleton. He will be sadly missed by his son Robert (Allie) and daughter Pat (Don). He gave so much of himself to help others in his family and also many friends. It’s time now for you to rest Dad and be with your loving wife Ruby. Bob worked at Hirtle’s Transport for 12 years in Bridgewater and retired in 1984 from Thompson’s Transfer as a truck driver after 32 years of service. Born in Hebbville on September 14, 1922, he was the son of the late Gilbert and Violet (Himmelman) Clattenburg and later moved to the Valley with his family. Dad was a man with big kind hands who just kept giving all his life and expected nothing in return. You will be blessed by God for your big heart and love for your family. Dad was a man who never complained about anything and was always a hard worker. God Bless You. He is survived by his son Robert W. (Alison) Hebb, Meadowvale and daughter Pat (Don) Burdon, New Maryland, NB; seven grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren, a great great grandson and many nieces and nephews; sister Marion (Ralph) Graves, Port Williams. He was predeceased by his loving wife of 54 years, Ruby; son James, sisters Ruby Lutz and Margaret Andrews, granddaughter Mary Anne Hebb. Visitation will be held from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday, June 4, 2012 in the Middleton Funeral Home 398 Main St., (902) 825-3448. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 5th in the Nictaux Baptist Church, Rev. Bill McLeod officiating. Private family interment will take place in the Nictaux Cemetery.
