LEDREW, Ronald Chesley – Passed peacefully on May 28, 2012, Ronald Chesley LeDrew of Botwood, N.L, at the age of 78. The devoted and loving husband, for over 53 years, of Maude (Richardson). Respected father of George (Nicki), Ardmore, Alberta, Ronald (Elizabeth Wall), Perth, Ont., and Richard (Verlie Avery) of Calmar, Alberta. Proud grandfather of Darcy LeDrew, Ardmore, Alberta. Son of the late Bernetta (1980) and Hedley LeDrew (1952). Also predeceased by twin brothers Terry (2009) and Jerry (2010), and sister-in-law Marguerite Saunders (2011). The most valued brother of Joan (Bram) Butt, Pat (John) Jones, Doreen (Archie) Rice, Hedley (Mary) LeDrew, and Glenys (Lloyd) York. He was highly treasured by his sisters-in-law: Shirley Fong (Richardson) and Mona LeDrew. The devoted teacher and much loved uncle of the Fong children: David, Bob, Linda, Dianne, Aileen, Carol and families. Also survived by many nephews, nieces and cousins. Rev. Elizabeth Stewart conducted funeral services from Trinity United Church, Botwood, on Thursday, May 31, 2012, with interment at the United Church Cemetery, Botwood. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Hoskins Funeral Home, Botwood. Pallbearers were George, Ronald, Richard, Darcy LeDrew and David and Bob Fong. Honourary pallbearers Hedley LeDrew, Archie Rice, Elmer Bursey and Bob Langdon (friends).
