WRIGHT, HELEN F. - 1925 - 2012 - Helen F. Wright, 87, of Pine Glen NB, passed away with her family by her side at the Dr. Georges L. Dumont University Hospital on Saturday, June 9, 2012. Born in Scotland, she was the daughter of the late William and Elizabeth (Turner) Hastie. Helen devoted her life to her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Helen was a past chief and life time member of the Pythian Sisters. Survived by her children, Elizabeth Samuel, Etta Washburn (Leonard) , Agnes Canning (Herb), Heather Ruff (Robert), Hazel Draycott (Scott), John Wright, Hugh Wright (Karen) and Matthew Wright (Karissa); 21 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; sisters Margaret, Betty, Ella and Agnes. Helen was looking forward to the arrival of her 15th great grandchild expected in September. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband of 49 years Andrew in 1997; infant daughter; brothers John, William and Alexander.
Visitation will be held at the Riverview Funeral Home on Tuesday ,June 12, 2012 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm and 7:00pm and 9:00pm. A funeral service will be held at the Riverview Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 13, 2012 at 11:00am with Rev. Chaplain Randall Read Capt. officiating. Interment will be held in Point de Bute Cemetery. In Helen’s memory donations made to the Kidney Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
