It is with great sadness that the family of the late Wayne Hatcher announce his sudden passing at his home on Thursday, May 24th, 2012 at the age of 64 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and precious memories his wife Bernice of 39 years; son Wade (Samantha) of St.John's; mother Blanche Rose of Port-Aux-Basques; sister Judy Hardy (Austin) of Rose Blanche; brother Ralph Cox (Karen) of Shelbourne, NS; brothers- in- law: Stuart Hardy (Sandra), Ronald Hardy (Geraldine) of Rose Blanche and a large circle of nieces, nephews and friends. He was predeceased by his father Garland Hatcher, stepfather John W Cox and mother and father-in-law Shirley and Henry Hardy. Visitation took place at St. Michael's and All Angels Church in Rose Blanche on Friday, Saturday and Sunday from where the funeral service took place on Monday, May 28th at 2:00pm with Rev. Kris Gosse officiating. Interment followed at Hillside Haven Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Fillatre's Funeral Home, Port-Aux-Basques.
